Advantages of Spiral Shredder Structure:
1. Anti-winding Bearings: A specialized sealing structure prevents fine fibers from entering the bearing housing, avoiding bearing burnout.
2. High Speed and High Torque: Compared to the low speed of large twin-shaft shredders, models processing soft materials typically operate at slightly higher speeds. Combined with a hydraulic pusher, this forces lightweight materials towards the rotor.
3. Replaceable Blades: The blades are typically square or octagonal. Once one corner wears down, the blade can be flipped for reuse, significantly reducing maintenance costs.

1. Plastics: PE/PP film, greenhouse film, packaging bags, fiber bags, FIBCs (monocell bags).
2. Fibers: Old clothes, carpets, textile scraps, fishing nets.

Common Problems and Maintenance Recommendations for Spiral Shredders:
1. Temperature Rise Control: When processing films, the frictional heat generated by high-speed cutting may soften the plastic or even cause it to stick to the blades. It is recommended to equip the shredder with a fan conveyor or water-cooled bearings.
2. Blade Clearance: Soft materials are extremely sensitive to clearance. It is recommended to regularly check and adjust the clearance to between 0.5mm and 1.5mm.
3. Metal Impurities: Although specifically designed for soft materials, the front end should ideally be equipped with magnetic separation or manual sorting to prevent iron blocks from entering and damaging the precisely arranged spiral blade holders.
